A-Line
An elastic rope fence acts as barrier and audience vantage point in this site specific, improvised performance with costume. Treating a grassy field with only one opening between trees as a "performance plane" I used movement and the reflection of the fading light on the white costume to explore drawing in real space. Lyrical running pathways were punctuated by explosive collisions with the fence. Similar to Mother's Bliss, the performance began in solitude and ended when all viewers had moved on.

Materials: tyvek costume, nylon rope, fuchsia fabric dye
