dance

Dancing is a source of joy and generosity in my life. I feel this as a performer and as a teacher, with students of all ages and experience levels. I offer classes in creative movement, modern dance, and improvisation at Mountainview Studio in Woodstock, NY. I’m also available for individualized workshops at your location.

    Hello Clyde,
    I am a former dancer now Massage Therapist and Birth Doula. Recently I have been searching for some quality modern dance classes in the Hudson Valley. I grew up in the area and then moved away, danced in the city a bit and up in Albany as well as out in San Francisco. For the past 5 years I have been taking West African Dance in Kingston with my dear friends Pam and Mimo Camara. Its the closest I can get to a really good modern dance class…that feeling of flying that I so miss! ;-)
    I know you teach at Mt. View for children but do you teach adults somewhere I should know about? Looking forward to meeting you and connecting with another dancer in the area.

    Hi, Dana

    My classes at Mountain View will be starting again the week of September 12. Would love to build a new adult class either there or, if the class is small, at my studio in West Saugerties. Are you still interested?

    Hi! The class seems to be just building now. What days and times work for you? Most likely if the class has more than five people, I would hold it at Mountain View Studio. If it’s less than 5, we’ll use my studio on West Saugerties Rd.

    We finally have this together!! I will be offering two adult classes at The Kleinert James Center for the Arts in Woodstock. Dance Workshop meets Tuesday and Friday mornings from 10-11:30am, and Moving in Space (the more beginner level of the two) meets Friday evenings from 6-7pm.

    There are two classes that meet at The Kleinert James Center for the Arts in Woodstock. Dance Workshop meets Tuesday and Friday from 10-11:30am and Moving in Space (the more beginner of the two classes) meets Friday evenings from 6-7pm. Hope you can join us!
